Meet Corey Klassen, CMKBD

Corey started his eponymous interior design studio consulting for major lower mainland design-build firms and has extensive experience in residential, kitchen and bath design, and interior styling. Prior to completing his professional education, Corey worked in luxury furnishings, home decor, production design, and cabinetry design. His design projects have been featured in the Globe & Mail, Wall Street Journal, Gray Magazine, and Dering Hall. In addition to being a professional designer, Corey is a professional instructor in a local design school and as an NKBA Instructor he travels to deliver his custom curriculum across North America. He is one of three Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designers (CMKBD) in British Columbia, and has volunteered with local chapters starting the very successful NKBA BC Chapter Design Contest in 2001. On a larger scale, Corey has worked with brands such as BLANCO Canada, DXV, Perlick Residential, and more to develop products, feedback, and design award-winning spaces. On the business of design side, Corey is recurring monthly guest on LuAnn Nigara's A Well Designed Business(TM) podcast.

You should know that… he loves to draft and to produce design detail drawings. Corey is incredibly honoured to have won over 10 recognized international design awards and to have volunteered locally with the National Kitchen & Bath Association. He is a professional instructor, and enjoys a strong cup of coffee (no sugar or milk) and a butter croissant.
