Corey Klassen, CMKBD, DDA Accredited

Principal Designer

Corey is a multiple international and local award-winning interior designer with a passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces from awkward and dated environments. As a classically trained artist, he has a personal eclectic style that blends Modern-Casual and Craftsman with colour, pattern, geometry, and texture. Corey truly believes that every interior designer is influenced by their Clients’ individual style and that their personal influences do not apply.

Corey comes from a long line of builders, draftspersons, drapery workrooms, floral designers, and construction material makers. This means his aptitude for problem solving and finding functional solutions is deeply rooted. Believing that our interior environments do not need to be tidy or perfect, Corey knows from experience that they need to functional and adaptable for each of our unique needs. Corey truly enjoys taking awkward, dysfunctional, and dated spaces into bold, functional, and inspiring areas that surround us with joy.

Corey is a Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer (CMBKD), Accredited Member of DDA Canada. He has worked with brands such as BLANCO Canada, DXV, Perlick Residential, and more to develop products, feedback, and design award-winning spaces. His design projects have been featured in the Globe & Mail, Wall Street Journal, Gray Magazine, and Dering Hall and launched the NKBA BC Design Competition in 2010. In addition to being a professional designer, Corey is a professional instructor in a local design school and as an NKBA Instructor he travels to deliver his custom curriculum across North America. On the business of design side, Corey is recurring monthly guest on LuAnn Nigara's A Well Designed Business(TM) podcast.

A Community Of Care Giving

Corey volunteered for the National Kitchen & Bath Association British Columbia Chapter for over 5 years by building the local design contest, but he truly love giving our Clients life-changing homes. There are so many of others that can not afford the same, for various reason, and since experiencing some personal challenges Corey committed himself to giving back to a community resource that helped him. If you want to know more, let’s chat about why we focus a portion of our annual profits to HIM - Health Initiative for Men.
