1. Telephone Consultation
Determining a client-designer fit is extremely important to anticipate successful outcomes of every design project. You will complete the intake questionnaire & book your interview, fast-tracking us toward the understanding how we can help you achieve your project goals. From there, we determine if we're aligned and will book your Assessment within the coming weeks.
To fully understand our clients goals & objectives, an in-person meeting uncovers design problems so we can propose a design solution. We take a detailed account of your goals for style, function, activities, equipment and furnishing. Although no design work is completed, a nominal fee applies that is credited toward your first flat design fee payment.
Concept Development Phase
The Design Team develops conceptual layouts in 2D CAD and strategizes to resolve the design concerns based upon your budget, timeline & style. We research & source products for the entire project at off-site showrooms & face-to-face at our downtown studio. The result is a set of preliminary schematic package that you can download and send to tender with pre-qualified General Contractors.
Contract Documentation Phase
After a successful tender process, our Team creates 3D colour renditions and produces working drawings containing floor plans of space, lighting, electrical and fire-safety, interior elevations, detail drawings & sections, millwork shop drawings, & specifications. There are a few face-to-face design meetings at our downtown studio, and the result is a Project Binder with all your documentation.
Construction Support Phase
During construction, we order all products and merchandise to coordinate with your General Contractor. Our Design Team confirms electrical, plumbing & HVAC layouts and rough-ins, quality checking the finish materials. Our role during this stage is to offer you support and the best insurance policy to reduce costly errors that would otherwise be missed.
