A Pied-à-terre of minimal and contemporary design aesthetics.
We first met our Clients virtually by video because they lived and worked overseas, but they owned this amazing and small condominium in downtown Vancouver. Their request was to create more space because this is their home. The colour and material pallet was kept simple and the biggest impact was the herringbone floor that runs off the angle of the living room wall, thru all the spaces, and up the bedroom wall. An added feature was the business class style bed in the storage room that doubles as shoe storage and as a bench. Each piece of furnishing was carefully selected to fit within the footprint and the style of the newly designed home.
