Does working your heart out for something you love mean that you loose the shirt off your back?
One of the fundamental problems with die Machine (or some corporations, not all) is that there is an expectation that the designer work hard, develop a product, product a mock drawing set/model, sell the product, and receive a small portion of the profit.
I don't know. I'm kind of sitting here, the little man at the end of a long chain of design actives, and kind of feeling a little displaced with the process of intellectual freedoms, copyrights, and total benefit compensation. What's it all for?
