Your Designer

Corey S. Klassen, AKBD BFACorey S. Klassen, AKBD BFA

I am an independent interior designer and kitchen and bath specialist holding an Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer (AKBD) appellation from the National Kitchen & Bath Association, one of only 25 Certified Members in British Columbia. I studied Residential Interior Design and Kitchen & Bath Design at Vancouver Community College, and have returned to my alma matter to teach. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree from the University of Manitoba School of Art where I was privileged to learn from and work with Alex Yeung, Marcel Dzama, Trudy Golley, and Irish Flinn.

Today, I continue to learn and grow by earning the Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD), Certified Bathroom Designer (CBD), LEED Green Associate, and NCIDQ certifications. I am inspired by Andy Warhol, Italian Renaissance, Johnny Grey, Frank Lloyd Wright, LEGO, throw-up graffiti, the colour white, horizontal lines, and dense spaces.
