Live with less? How about in 55 sq. ft?

Manhattan, NY – In a Hell’s Kitchen 55 square foot “apartment” for $800/mo., freelance event planner Eddie Rabon has one square foot less than a jail cell on Rikers Island.

“It’s fantastic,” he said. “It’s a great neighborhood in the greatest city. It’s about $800 a month. You won’t find that price anywhere else in this area. I feel like the money I save not having to get on the train to get around because I’m in the center of everything is worth it.”

The longest wall is 12′-6″. The bathroom sink is from an airplane and it’s spun length-wize.

Someone tell this boy that $800/mo.+ $30-50/mo. for utilities in 55 sq. ft. is too much for a glorified room that is actually an office, perhaps. Oh and we have the same taste in shoes. (source: NYPost)

Well that was fun to see, it really is as expensive as they say to live in new York!
